Mentoring Pre-Service Teachers
Kara Imm, Math-In-The-City Director, will conduct a Mentoring Pre-Service Teachers workshop, focusing on providing appropriate feedback for beginning, intermediate, and culminating field experiences.
The new NYS guidelines for clinical experiences require 200 hours for all education students prior to student teaching. This workshop will help develop your thinking about appropriate tasks and feedback that foster critical thinking and awareness of classroom learning environments in pre-service teachers.
This workshop will provide 6 hours of CTLE credit.
Where: Buffalo State Science and Mathematics Complex 259
When: Saturday May 19th
Time: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Registration, morning snacks and beverages will be available at 8:30 am.
